It’s wedding season and I know everybody is looking for wedding guest inspo! I’ve seen so many amazing dresses recently that I thought a wishlist-style blog might give you some ideas. If you don’t see anything here, there’s even more beautiful outfits in my recent Nasty Gal wishlist. I’ve added some items in here that you shouldn’t wear to weddings (i.e. white dresses and skirts), but I absolutely fell in love with them so just added them anyway. I’ve linked flowy and romantic dresses, short and elegant dresses and more going out-out dresses that you could wear if you’re only going to the night time event. This edit is comprised of outfits from lots of different websites including Asos, PLT, Booho, Chi Chi London, Meshki, House of CB, Abyss by Abby and many more so it should suit everyone’s budget. If you like the look of something, click the picture and it will take you straight to item on the website! It may be the case that an item or 2 have sold out, but I will keep the image and link to it here anyway incase you really love an outfit and want to keep checking when it’s back in stock. Happy shopping!
As you can probably tell, some of these dresses and outfits aren’t very ‘mainstream’ and you definitely wouldn’t find them from the likes of Missguided and PLT! This is because they are from Australian websites like Hello Molly, Miss Holly, White Fox Boutique and Mura Boutique. I’ve always loved Australian websites so much more (especially for holiday clothes and dressy outfits) as the style is so different and it’s super girly! I’ve ordered from a couple of these sites before and the fit was true to size, but just make sure you read the ‘shipping’ conditions as sometimes the delivery service will charge you additional taxes. I always thought that the shipping would take weeks because your order is literally coming from the other side of the world if you live in the UK, but I got my grad ball dress from Meshki and it arrived in 3 days!! The shipping was also free as I paid over a certain amount for it, so sometimes it’s worth looking on these websites if you want to really stand out.
It goes without saying that this guide isn’t just for weddings inspo. You could wear these outfits to the likes of christenings, parties, the races, baby showers or even on holiday!
I’m a massive fan of neutral colours, hence why the majority of these outfits are shades of pink, nude, light blue etc, however, many items have lots of different colour options so don’t forget to click on the image if you like the look or style of something incase you want to browse the rest of the website.
I’ll definitely be referring back to this when I’m looking for a new outfit for an upcoming occasion so hopefully I’ve given you lots of inspo! X
