Beauty is a big part of my life and I’m always looking for new tips and tricks to save time and money! I’ve put together a list of household items that are amazing alternatives for beauty products. I use most of these items often (if not daily) because they are so convenient and cheap.
I recently purchased this cute blue button up paper bag skirt from Primark, but I find it quite hard to style these because the top of it is gathered rather than tight so I thought I would do a blog post incase anybody needs some inspo.
Having suffered from acne for the past 14 years, I finally decided to get laser treatment to remove my scars. If you want to read a more personal account of my experience with acne, this post explains in depth why I decided to get the most advanced rejuvenation treatment available.
If you’ve known me for the best part of 14 years, you will know that I’ve struggled with acne since a very young age. I touched on this in my ‘How to Get Clear Skin Fast’ blog post, but to give more of an insight on how I came to the decision to get laser treatment before I post my results, I wanted to write about my acne experience in a bit more depth.
I recently purchased this fuschia tie front bodysuit from Lasula and because the ties at the front are not permanently stitched in a bow, you can play about with them and make it look like a completely different bodysuit each time you wear it! This is fab if you want to save money or are sick of wearing an outfit/ item of clothing once before the rules of Instagram declare you an outfit repeater.
I think it’s important to take a break from writing about the more superficial things in life like travel and fashion and speak about an issue that is really close to my heart. I’ve suffered from anxiety for the last 3 years or so and at first I didn’t understand it because I thought something was physically wrong with me.
This unicorn café in Bangkok is literally like something straight out of a dream. It’s the most weirdly magical café I’ve ever been been in! I’m still trying to wrap my head around the fact that somewhere like this exists because it literally looks like there’s been an explosion of all things unicorns, rainbows and glitter.
I recently bought a few wee bits and bobs from H&M so I thought I’d do a mini haul! I’ve always loved H&M as you’re always guaranteed to find good basic items, they always have a huge range of bags and accessories to choose from and their Homeware section is amazing.
I finally have a degree wooo!! To celebrate, we had an amazing Graduation Ball in the Crowne Plaza hotel. Because grad ball has been hyped up for my entire four years of uni, I was extremely anxious to find the perfect outfit.
I love layering!! It takes a simple outfit from casual to glam in an instant. I’m completely obsessed with bralets- I must have about 50 of them in all different colours but they’re a definite wardrobe must-have. Because they’re so versatile, you have the choice to wear them on their own or wear them layered under pieces of clothing!
